Surprisingly Vegan Junk food!

Oreos

The delicious creme-filled cookie contains no dairy product hence they are vegan friendly. Oreo also claims that their cookies are kosher according to their website.

Lay’s Classic potato chips

The only vegan gluten-free junk food on all of Lay’s Potato chips line. The Classic potato chips use only three ingredients: Potatoes, Vegetable Oil (Canola, Corn, Soybean, and/or Sunflower Oil), and Salt.

Lindt chocolate bars

Being vegan does not imply avoiding chocolate. Nobody should ever be asked to do something like that. Lindt’s 70% cocoa bar can satisfy any chocolate cravings while avoiding the use of animal products. Once you get down to 60% cacao, things start to get a little weird, so stick to the darker stuff.

Fritos

Corn, corn oil, and salt are the only components in the original Fritos, which is a surprisingly low number of ingredients for such a popular salty snack. Not a single one of those elements comes from a live organism. Other Fritos varieties, particularly those with the phrase “natural flavorings” in the ingredient list, should be avoided. Nobody knows what “natural flavorings” means, and there’s no guarantee it doesn’t contain any animal products.

Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili

While the more popular Doritos varieties contain whey.  The Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili is a dairy-free variant that is perfect for vegans and anybody else who enjoys spicy sweetness. Also, this version has 25% Less Fat than Regular Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Tortilla Chips.

Bac’n Pieces

The Bac’n Pieces is Kosher-certified, and the ingredients list does not contain dairy or animal products. For food that tastes like bacon but does not actually contain bacon this is a great achievement for food science.

Justin’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

This peanut butter cup is Certified Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, and does not contain dairy. But don’t get me wrong Justin’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups rival Reese’s peanut butter cups when it comes to flavor. The only difference is that health-food fanatics loved it more.

Nutter Butter cookies

They are sweet, salty, gritty, and safe for vegetarians. Also, it is made with real peanut butter.

Healthy Vegan Treats for Kids

If you are not a fan of our vegan junk food list and think that those snacks are not 100 percent vegan, then this list of vegan kid snacks is just for you.

When we say vegan snacks the top two that come to mind are vegetables and fruits. Healthy snacks like celery, raw carrots, and cauliflower dipped into hummus are the usual go-to snacks of our vegan friends. But, what most people don’t know is that there are many options when it comes to healthy snacks.

Fruit Smoothies –  Another delicious and healthful snack is fruit smoothies. It simply takes a few minutes to prepare and clean up. For extra protein and greater nourishment, use unsweetened soy milk or Ripple. You can use any frozen fruit or berries in your smoothies.

Baked Sweet Potatoes  Considered to be a popular snack in Japan and can be found in many grocery stores. Baked Sweet Potatoes are one of the most simple and nutritious snacks available. However, they are not a good choice if you’re already hungry because they take time to bake. You may alternatively bake them and then mash them with some chopped almonds and maple syrup before storing them in an airtight container.

Vegan Yogurts –  If you want a nutritious and convenient snack then yogurts are perfect for you. Choose yogurts made of soy milk as it has more protein compared to the ones made with coconut milk or almonds.  However, keep in mind that most brands contain a significant amount of sugar. You can find unsweetened plain soy yogurt if you don’t want the added sugar. To add more flavor and nutrition you can put fruits or berries in your yogurt.

Popcorn – Yes that is correct, popcorn is also vegan. You can buy salted popcorn that doesn’t contain butter in your grocery store.

Oatmeal – People adore oatmeal because it is easy to prepare, inexpensive, and lasts a long time. You can use water, your favorite plant-based milk, or almond milk when preparing your oatmeal. Add fruits, berries, or maple syrup to enhance the flavor.

Chocolate – Since most chocolate contains milk and sugar many think that it is not vegan. But, what they don’t know is that chocolate is one of the healthiest vegan snacks that you can have. Buy dark chocolate with an 85% or higher cocoa content when shopping for chocolate. You can also try cocoa beans, they’re bitter at first and may take some getting used to but they’re incredibly nutritious and satisfying.

Avocado Toast – You can enjoy this healthy meal by checking the label of your bread to see if it contains eggs, honey, or dairy.

Nuts – Roasted nuts like Cashews, Almonds, and many more are healthy and tasty snacks that you can eat on the go.
